Common Cause:
No power to the meter
Incorrect power to the meter
Damaged meter
Check:
Voltage (90 to 264 VAC) across rear connector terminal 11 & 12. Return to Factory.
Problem: Incorrect Display
Common Cause:
Trasmitter connections
Wrong setup
Defective Transmitter
Check:
Wiring Diagram see flow diagram & "CALIBRATION" Replace Transmitter
Problem: Incorrect Setpoint
Common Cause:
Alarm not set correctly
Check:
Alarm type, NO or NC & Hysteresis and setpoint setting.
Problem: Relay Output Inoperative
Common Cause:
Incorrect connections
Contacts shorted or open due to electrical overload
Check:
Wiring Diagram Return to Factorys
Problem: Relay Chatter
Common Cause:
Electrical pickup
Check:
See "SETPOINT RELAY/ALARMS" & "SIGNAL NOISE ISOLATION"
Problem: Analog Output Does Not Track Display
Common Cause:
Incorrect setup
Defective Analog P.C.B.
Check:
See flow diagram & "CALIBRATION" Replace Analog Printed Circuit Board
Problem: Display Drifting
Common Cause:
Water in cable
Check:
With transmitter wires disconnected, resistance between the red or black lead and the shield should be more than 15 Meg ohms
Problem: Display varies when relays switch on
Common Cause:
Electrical pickup
Check:
See "SETPOINT RELAYS/ALARMS" & "SIGNAL NOISE ISOLATION"
